How does this work?

When you sign up for a natural gas price protection plan with Direct Energy, you have the option to make your natural gas consumption 100% carbon neutral. This means that Direct Energy will purchase certified carbon emission credits to offset the pollution released into the atmosphere by the natural gas you consume. All credits are certified and are verified by an independent authority.
