The Houston Aeros and Direct Energy have once again joined together for another great season full of excitement and action.

As the official sponsor of the game, a Direct Energy executive, Ronnie Chahal, dropped the opening puck to start the game. Direct Energy also gave out Aeros thunderstix to the first 3,000 fans who entered Toyota Center the night of the game.
And last but not least, Direct Energy sponsored a puck shoot out, where 2 fans competed to win an autographed Aeros jersey.
Direct Energy supports the Houston Aeros' commitment to the community by donating charitable group tickets for one regular season home game to an Aeros Charity.
This season charitable tickets were distributed, in the name of Direct Energy, to The Boys and Girls Club and Salvation Army at the December 13, 2008, Houston Aeros Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game. The teddy bears were donated to KHOU's Spirit of Texas Toy Drive, which benefits the Salvation Army.
